Jesús Rosales is an associate professor of Spanish in the School of International Letter and Cultures at Arizona State University. He was born in Durango, Mexico and raised in Santa Barbara, California. He has lived and worked throughout the Southwest, including California, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. His field of specialty is Chicano literary history and Chicano literature written in Spanish.
